A well celebrated Chef - Chef Vivek Singh will join the Maharajas' Express as the guest Lecturer on 20th February 2011, Classical India journey. He is the CEO and the Chief Executive Chef of Cinnamon Club, London. He is a familiar face on UK television with regular appearances on BBC's Saturday Kitchen and UKTV Food's Market Kitchen.
Vivek opened Cinnamon Club in UK in 2001 and ever since then has won many awards thus establishing Cinnamon Club as the most famous Indian restaurant in the World.
His bright and highlighted career includes his work with one of India's most well established Hotel chain, The Oberoi Group of Hotel as a specialist in Indian cuisine and was fast tracked to become the Indian Chef of the Oberoi's flagship- Rajvilas in Jaipur at the age of 26.
He has always pushed the perceived boundaries with Indian food and has looked 'beyond authentic'. Vivek is widely believed to be one of the most articulate Indian Chefs of his generation. He has written 4 books and his most recent book is titled Curry - Classic and Contemporary.
